The stars are comming to Ostrava

The Continental Cup will start in three days and the biggest stars of the current queen of the sports will comming. Some of them have already tried the track and sectors at the training stadium.

One of the biggest stars Abderrahman Samba trained at the stadium in this morning. Today, 23 years old Mauritanian native, who represents Qatar collors since 2016, is the comet of this season. He won six Diamond League meetings and remains unbeaten this year in the 400 metres hurdles. In Parise he moved to second place to all time list in this event behind the world record holder and legendary American Kevin Young. The 400 meter hurdle race should be one of the main events of this Continental Cup. Samba´s rival will bet he current world and European champion Karsten Warholm from Norway, winner of Diamond League 2018 Kyron McMaster from British Virgin Islands or olympic, world and european medailist Yasmani Copello form Turkey.

There was also Samba´s training partner and teammate Abdalelah Haroun. The bronz man from last year´s World Championship in London and silver medailist from World Indoor Championship in Portland 2016 experienced a successful return to British metropolis when he won Diamond League meeting in his new personal rekord 44.07. He will start in Ostrava race as a fresh double winner of Asian Games. In Jakarta he won 400 meters race and together with Samba and other great Quatar runner, he also won 4x400 meter relay in the new Asian record 3:00.56.

Next top athletes who tryed track and sectors of technical events in Ostrava are shot put world champion, Diamond League 2018 winner and world leader Gong Lijiao from China, silver medalist from Commonwealth Games 2018 in long jump Brooke Stratton or her teammate Damien Birkihead, who complements Tom Walsh in high quality shot put competition.
